Privacy notice
How AI Tools Hotlist handles submissions, technical information, and website analytics.
Last updated: 18 October 2026.
Information you provide
Guest article submissions include your name, email, optional portfolio link, draft, author bio, evidence, and disclosures. Tool submissions include contact details, product information, source links, pricing details, and disclosures. We also receive information you send to our contact email.
Why we use it
We use submission details to consider, verify, edit, and respond to contributions. Approved article or product information may be published. Contact email addresses and internal review information are kept out of public content.
Where it is stored
Form entries and pending content are stored in WordPress and are accessible to authorised site administrators and editors. Submission notifications are sent through the site’s email system to the editorial team. Hosting and email providers process data needed to deliver those services.
Technical information and cookies
The two submission forms are configured not to record visitors’ IP address, browser, or device name in their entries. Hosting infrastructure may maintain its own technical logs. WordPress uses cookies for functions such as signing in to an administrator account. This site does not require a visitor account to submit an article or tool.
Website analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 through Google Site Kit to understand how people find and use AI Tools Hotlist and to improve our content. Analytics may record pages viewed, interactions, referral sources, and browser or device information, and may use cookies or similar identifiers. Google processes this information under its own policies. Our Site Kit configuration excludes signed-in users from Analytics.
Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services and Google’s Privacy Policy. Google offers an Analytics opt-out browser add-on for supported browsers.
Sharing links
Sharing buttons open the selected third-party service only when you choose them. These services handle information under their own policies. Copying a link copies the public page URL; form answers are not included.
Retention and requests
We retain submissions while they are useful for editorial consideration and site administration. To ask about your information, request a correction, or request removal, email CJ@aitoolshotlist.com and identify the relevant submission. We may need to verify that the request concerns your information.
Contact
For privacy questions, contact CJ@aitoolshotlist.com. Please do not send passwords, sensitive account data, or confidential customer information through the submission forms.
